This indoor-outdoor rug is definitely a high-quality item. We would not hesitate to recommend it for indoor use – not a statement I would make about all such rugs. The flat weave is tightly constructed, giving it a neat and elegant appearance. The color, navy blue, matches the dark navy in the picture online, and is brightened with little threads of gray in a regular pattern. Around the borders is a large, traditional design of the same gray color. The overall effect is very polished. This is a design that would adapt well to a number of different décor styles.
We bought this item in hopes of creating a comfy laundry room where none existed. After clearing out the area of the basement around the washer/dryer and painting that section of the floor and walls, we placed this rug down as the centerpiece to bring it all together. The strong linear border really marks out the space and makes it inviting. The rug feels soft and warm on the feet, and has been easy to keep clean. If we occasionally – inevitably - need to mop up a water spill, I don’t need to worry about how the rug will survive. It wipes up easily and dries fast. Very pleased!. Tricia. Ardmore, PA.
