We have a big open space that wasn't keeping cool. We replaced a brand new 15,000 btu with this one and honestly love it. 100degrees outside and a lovely 68 inside. Tired of going through window units from the home improvement stores, I did a lot of research before this purchase. Better build quality, longer-lasting product. You pay a bit more, but that's fine with me, I'll take longevity over having to replace the a/c too soon! Bought this open box item and was worried it would be beat up or not operate properly, but after receiving and testing it works well and looks clean and new. Bought this unit for the wifi capabilities and was a bit taken aback because it requires 2.4mhz wifi as opposed to newer 5.0 which is almost a staple these days.
