Always wanted a cotton voile drop length bed skirt but having such heavy mattresses to try and lift, lay down the skirt then replace the top layer only to find it bunched up. This design was such a wonderful invention, it simply goes around the mattress and elastic is then fitted to the mattress. I prefer a heavier comforter but my husband a lighter one so this was a good compromise. I do suggest taking it out and letting it sit out go get the wrinkles out. These are definitely an interesting product! They are - just to be clear - navy blue on one side and bright red on the direct opposite side. They are 180 degree reversible, not insideoutside reversible. The colors are beautiful and as you can see by the picture its pretty easy to conceal the other side. They are open on one edge and though it sounds (and looks) like youre supposed to be able to tuck the pillow into a small fold to keep the case in place, its not actually possible due to how shallow the fold is.. Great value, beautiful pillow covers. Although these pillow protectors are not listed as pillow cases thats what I use them for. And they have a zipper closure ensuring a snug fit. Machine washable and dry on low setting. Easy on the skin and hair as cotton cases absorb moisture from your face and hair and contribute to hair breakage.
