Wow, this has a LOT of settings! I thought it just dimmed or brightened the light. It has a reading setting, a night light mode, a babyfeeding mode, a mode for when youre on the computer, a nature mode, it changes from 3000k to 6000k, and it changes to different shades like bright white, bluish white, yellowish white. In addition to dimmingbrightening, it also has a one hour timer that will automatically shut the light off. Thats a great feature for bedtime. I thought I was getting 2 bulbs but I just got one.
