Works really well when its working. I know I probably make it work hard having a family of 4, 2 dogs and 4 cats in a 1600sf home. Tried my best to put it in a central location in my house so it could work best. My only complaint is that I believe they recommend the air filters need to be changed about every 3 months and they are 56set. Ive even tried searching for basically a generic set from a different company with no luck. I probably should have put more time into researching an air filter that was less expensive to maintain over time. Does anyone have any suggestions like can I wash and dry the various filter levels and use longer or can I use them longer in general like replacing twice a year instead of 4 times a year. Maybe the cost is worth it for someone with bad allergies, etc. I got this mainly to keep our home cleaner and reduce any smells or dander in the air when we have guests over that might be allergic to cats and situations like that. We arent a super wealthy family but definitely blessed. I guess its just hard to spend money on unfun things like replacement filters than new home decorations, lol. Now that I have it (I used my Christmas gift card to buy it), I wish I had considered other models more and looked at the long term cost of maintaining them when I chose which air purifier to buy..
