This has worked well for us. Way to out together and produces a great compost. One thing to note is that the compost can rest on the bottom ledge inside which can make it difficult to open the doors. Awesome little compost trash can. We have a garden and we compost pretty much everything possible. This little receptacle is plenty for 1-2 days of composite waste collection (and we have A LOT of compost waste) - 4 people including 2 kids with lots of post-school lunch waste. The quality seems as excellent as you will see on reviews elsewhere. Only a week in for us now now and this thing is 'cooking.' Note that, as another review 'complained', the color delivered was green, not grey as pictured and described online. Thankfully I had read that review and was fine with either color. The color issue is for Wayfair customer service and shouldn't affect the product quality review. The way they show it installed on the side of the house is pretty troublesome too. Sturdy and kid friendly, BUT the handle doesn't truly work as designed. The top goes up and down manually, but not via the handle as the wire doesn't attach concretely enough and snapped off. Also be mindful to know which screws you are using throughout the building process as they look similar but are slightly different for different stages and I merely lucked out using the correct ones. (Also there is no bottom so we used a piece of carpet so ants wouldnt set up shop in the sand, alternatively you could probably use a piece of plywood).
