[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this rug. I don’t quite like the style or pattern of it but everything else I love. It truly is a washable rug. So easy. It’s light weight on my washer and dryer but not so light weight that when peed on it goes through. I went on vacation and my dog had a couple accidents while I was gone in between someone coming and letting her out. It protected my floors underneath it wonderfully. I through it in the washer when I got home and the floors where dry and the rug was easy to pick up and put in. It dried fast and easy unlike other rugs I’ve had in the past. I didn’t have to hang it up and wait a day or two to dry and it doesn’t peel or tear it in the laundry. I also want to say how soft the rug is. The design brightens the area, which really opens up the space. It’s impressively lightweight without feeling flimsy, making it easy to handle while still feeling like a quality piece of decor. The standout feature for our household is the maintenance. Everyone in our home — including our dog — suffers from seasonal allergies. So being able to simply toss this into the washing machine when vacuuming isn’t getting it clean enough is a huge benefit. It’s also skid resistant, so it stays put on the floor without the need for any additional rug pad or backing. I liked the weight and really appreciated the overall utility of this as an occasional rug. It provides a terrific look for the space, and maintaining it couldn’t be easier. The rug is soft on the outer side, with a slightly rougher back, kind of like a built in rug pad. The rug has a vaguely southwestern style design in shades of beige and cream.
