This Media Console is expertly crafted from New Zealand Radiata wood and Radiata veneer. The side and back panels are veneered and hand-finished with a rich espresso multi-coat lacquer. Drawer boxes and faces are constructed of solid wood and joined with sturdy English dovetails. The veneered tabletop surface is finished with a polyurethane top coat to provide added scratch-resistance and durability and the glass doors feature premium tempered safety glass. Designed to support up to a 65″ flat panel television, featuring ample storage space for accommodating multimedia equipment, gaming electronics, large DVD collections, and accessories. Innovative and functional, the console includes two rear doors with dual heat vents and a central cord management boot; doors open 180 degrees toward the center for rear loading and component wiring with ease.
I think the actual TV Console is a 3 or 4 star, but my experience with Wayfair was a 1 star, and it will take me awhile to regain any trust with them. Buyer beware that this product comes from Seattle, Washington area and the 3-4 weeks is inaccurate. I did not get any real customer service one would expect until October 31, 2021 when I submitted to the BBB for reasons of not receiving my product (4 times) and borderline false advertising as still advertised on the Wayfair website (ORDERED AUGUST 28th, 2021, AND RECEIVED FEBRUARY 19TH, 2022).
In summary, the first delivery received on 10/4/21 was damaged, the next two scheduled deliveries on 10/30/21 and 11/30/21 were literal no shows, but my email and texts stated, “your delivery drive will be arriving at xyz time”. I waited each time over 4 hours for an arrival. On 1/12/22, I called Wayfair and was told this TV Stand lost in transit, but again, NO one reached out to me. Keep in mind, I had ~ 10 different Service Reps and ~10 Supervisors. On January 18, 2022, a Manager from the Customer Advocacy Team was assigned to me. She had the proper customer service/follow up that should have happened months ago! This product ended up being heavily discounted to me, but the time put in was not worth it.
It finally arrived (February 19, 2022) and overall, a nice piece (Epoch Designs), but the side doors are not fully aligned as one would expect and buckle out and/or in (over a $1,000 price point). Additionally, the screws for the door handles were not the correct ones, and the color is more a Taupe Gray vs true Gray. The front face customer service is nice at first, but over promise and under deliver-this needs to change.. Joanne. Philadelphia, PA. Sun Feb 20 2022
