The ideal height for a chandelier over a dining table is 30 to 34 inches. Mine measured 41 inches. I needed to lower the chandelier 6 to 7 inches high with a matching gold finish. These rods were perfect. The rods are an excellent choice for warm, lighter-colored gold. They were a 95% match if you even noticed it. It's offered at a fair price for what I got. I was not sure what to expect when I ordered it, but I’m very happy with the quality of material on the wings since it’s supposed to resemble stained glass.. I’m giving it five stars BUT the lamp arrived broken, only one ring lit up. I contacted Wayfair eho then contacted the company who immediately contacted me and sent me a FREE REPLACEMENT lamp all in LESS than one week! Incredible customer service!
