What I will say again is to please order the Archetype Hemp fabric sample before you order the arm chair, sofa or ottoman. As the fabric appears much lighter in photos. You may find the photos I have of the sofa to be closer to what the actual color is. Lighting makes a very big difference in the overall look of these furniture pieces. We needed the biggest sofa sleeper we could get for a very narrow room and this one worked with our measurements. I was a bit nervous ordering it without trying it first but am really happy with it! As a sofa, it is super sink-in comfy. We haven't slept on the sleeper yet but we did try it out and it seems great. We didn't realize until it arrived but the sleeper is meant to slept on between the sofa arms, rather than from the back out, like traditional sofa sleepers. Regardless, we did have a sense going in that this won't be great for our taller guests but it still works for us. We ordered this in Dorset Cherry Performance Chenille and we love it. I love my new couch! I got the Herring cove aqua fabric. I like this fabric because it has olefin in it so it will not wear easily. It is a very firm sofa but I like that. I don't like sinking down into things. Plus, I think it will last a long time. I was very happy with Western Peaks Logistics , the delivery company that delivered it. I got the sofa bed in beige faux leather with cherry legs. I have not tried sleeping on it, and it is quite solid to sit on, but it is nonetheless exactly what I needed. I wanted to convert my son's old room into a den/guestroom that could accommodate him on his infrequent visits home (a regular sofa might have made him feel unwelcome and displaced) or that could accommodate the occasional overnight guest without encouraging them to linger too long. This sofa is the perfect size to create a reading corner amidst a wall of books, while still providing reasonable sleeping accommodations for 1-2 guests. I am very pleased. I looked far and wide before finding anything in a pale beige faux leather (I am vegan and dislike large dark sofas). I am very happy with my chairs. The size and color are just as expected. I did order samples of upholstery, which I highly recommend. By doing so, as seen in the photos, I was able to match very closely with my footstools. The seaming is beautifully done. HOWEVER, the reason for my four stars, is that the seat cushion extends several inches over the edge of the chair as seen in the photo. I’m quite sure this will affect how the seat wears over time.. I ordered the Edgecomb Sofa with Chaise in Dorset Taupe. The fabric is beautiful and wears well. The sofa cushions are very comfortable. The chaise cushion is where the problem lies. Either the feet end of the chaise cushion is over stuffed, or the top of the ottoman is too high, thereby causing a sinking sensation when you sit on the chaise. Wayfair replaced the sofa once due to the issue. However, they did not correct the problem and the second sofa has the same problem. I then paid someone to cut down the legs of the ottoman, hoping this would solve the problem. I did not. Very disappointed. This is a design flaw that needs to be addressed. I am going to attempt to order a separate sofa cushion to replace the chaise and do away with the ottoman and chaise completely. I will post an update.. Barbara. Philadelphia, PA. Sat Mar 29 2025
