THIS IS THE ONE TO GET! If you’re anything like me, you’re probably researching reverse osmosis filtration systems at length. We considered doing an under the counter option in our house, but after doing research for about two months, I decided that this countertop option would best fit our needs. We wanted to reduce our intake of the standard filtered water we get from our refrigerator as much as possible since we know that most refrigerator drinking water filtration systems cannot filter out harmful metals, chemicals, or micro plastics the way that reverse osmosis systems can. And this system, having only one filter that can perform the same task as something with three or four separate filters is really what sold us. And it works! We’ve done our own drinking water tests at home from a few kits we got from the city, and specifically the metals detected in this filtered water versus the filtered water from our refrigerator is astounding. Our average PPM reading is around 0.05 with the system compared to around 0.87 with our regular filtered water from our refrigerator. I'm excited to have this filtration system set up, I'm waiting for my kitchen sink to be replaced before I try it out, but it seems simple enough, there's three sections, each with their own locking and unlocking components, I received an extra filter which was really nice. I like that they give stickers to put on it with the months so I don't forget when things need changed. All of the necessary equipment came with it but I leave anything plumbing related to the experts so I'll update this review next month when the plumber finishes the kitchen.
