This kit includes an elongated version of EarthMindedConsumerProducts patented FlexiFit diverter that will replace the diverter included with EarthMinded rain barrels. This diverter installs to the narrow side of the downspout, and collects water from the entire inner wall surface of the downspout, for greater collection efficiency.

Ordered the brown, perhaps it is the darkest brown ever. That said, purchased the full diverter kit for 3x4 downspout from A****n to have multiple spigots, hole saws, hose and fittings. Use this kit to add a high flow ball valve spigot with garden hose threaded outlet to any rain barrel, tank or other plastic container. This kit includes 1/4 turn high flow ball valve, threaded seal and 1.25" spade bit, all the parts needed to add a spigot to a rain barrel in minutes. The provided compression seal installs from the outside of the barrel so it can be used on sealed or tight-head drums.

I love this rain barrel! Of course, as soon as we installed it, it didn’t rain for almost a month! But when it finally did rain, it filled up fast! I just ordered my second one! It was very easy to install. The only negative things I can say is 1) The top planter was misshaped, but once I put dirt and flowers in it, it fixed itself. There was not a problem flipping it and putting the top on without the planter side up. 2) It seems like when the barrel is filled to the top, the plants sit in muddy water. Use this kit to add a high flow ball valve spigot with garden hose threaded outlet to any EarthMinded brand rain barrel. This kit includes a 1/4 turn high flow ball valve, and male pipe thread to garden thread adaptor. This kit can replace the plastic gate-valve spigot included with all EarthMinded products or, add a second valve to the bottom drain assembly for use with garden hose or soaker hose.
