Beautiful door! However, there were two places that had wood broken off. My husband is handy and said he thought he could fix it. He did, so I didn’t report a claim. Bought this for my Dad's modern farmhouse and it just brought everything together. Well-made and absolutely a stunning statement piece. The blue wood is so pretty in person and matched the blue-gray leather couches. The different colors of wood really tied together the multi-colors of wood my dad had between his older and newer things. Great door. They sent wall anchors for hanging…you cannot use these, you must hit the studs in the walls. Also, the K boards are NOT attached with adhesive (as the instructions direct) but with the small black screws. The hardware is beefy and impressive. I ordered 2 of these doors for a house I am having built. I was waiting for house to be completed, so I did not put doors together in 30days. I had a piece of the door that was split. Being it was 30 days, I contacted the manufacturer (Coast Sequoia) to get a replacement piece. They responded quickly and replaced the piece at no cost (I offered to pay). The doors look great and think they will be a great addition to my new home. The doors look as advertised and would recommend to anyone. The customer service from the mfg was exceptional. I can only imagine the quality of the doors will be as good as the service I received. Highly Recommend!!!! Update (101525) I asked for a replacement piece for the side panel because of the handle that I installed. I did not like how it looked (my fault). I love this door, it matched our decor perfectly. We had an awkward door in the master bathroom. When it was open it blocked the tub. This door solved that problem for us. Plan plenty of time to assemble everything...it took us close 4 hours to complete the project. It was a bit tricky to put together and hang, definitely not a 1 man job unless you have large clamps. We used 1-2 people to hold the door planks tight and one to screw the top and bottom boards in place. We chose not to remove the old bathroom door trim moulding, so we needed to use the spacers and extra washers for the door to clear the trim. It is a rustic door, made from soft pine wood, so it’s easy to mar the wood and the planks were a little warped, that’s why it took someone squeezing the planks together. The floor guide is way too short, as are the screws, to install on thick carpet. They would probably work on hardwood floors. We will need to purchase a new guide for it to actually reach the bottom guide track. Be sure to measure and level things often, getting it right is important for the door to work well. The instructions were somewhat poorly translated and are sometimes only in mm, some were converted to inches. The instructions said to use a chainsaw for one step, but no saw was needed.
