Ive had this Chasseur rectanglar roaster and a smaller one for over 20 years - two of my favorite pieces in an enormous collection of large cast iron cookware, mostly Le Creuset. This is my go-to piece for roating chicken, either a whole large bird surrounded by carrots, potatoes and onions, or cut up. also works beautuflly for a large, deep lasagna. Clean-up is a breeze. After all these years, some minor discoloration on the interior, but otherwise in terrific shape. Am resisting the temptation to buy another, but highly recommend to anyone considering this - its a piece that will last a lifetime of cooking.
