Seems to be very sturdy. The hinges on the lid are great. They hold the top open so you can load things into the bin. I love this garbage can. It’s a heavy duty, durable plastic that seems to withstand the elements pretty well. This deck box is absolutely massive and holds everything I needed it to- with room left over! I garden so I needed somewhere to store my extra soil, mulch, and even some extra pots. They were so cluttered in my house and patio so this was my solution. It worked great and there’s even room for more. The only thing I would maybe change would be sealing it a little better- I don’t need a full lock with a code needed or anything but sometimes a strong wind shifts the lid a bit so I’d like to be able to lock it in place. Love this smart looking outdoor trash bin! It was very easy to put together, taking about 5 minutes. The instructions state to be very careful that you don't put it together incorrectly as the pieces can't be undone, but I had no problem relocating one I had inadvertantly put on backwards. This 260 gallon water resistant resin lockable deck box is HUGE! In a good way! It would be an excellent option for storing patio cushions during rain and snow since it is water resistant. Although we considered that option, we are going to use it for product deliveries to our home to help packages from getting wet and destroyed and or stolen. We will have the lock open and ask the delivery driver to lock it when they leave. It is very durable and was easy to put together. The only problem that I feel could have some attention to are the directions. They are very confusing and not very user friendly. I probably could have put it together a lot quicker without looking at the directions. Besides that, the functionality and integrity of the deck box is truly a five-star. I’m having trouble writing this review. I thought for sure I had submitted it twice. Here goes and hopefully number three is a charm. I love the deck box. It’s sleek contemporary sturdy. I appreciate the hydraulic lift, but I have found it important to close it applying the pressure directly in the middle. I have not tested the lock, but I’m grateful for that, as I will be storing some valuable items in it while outside. I lost my large shed last month, so this is a lifesaver for me! It seats 2 to 3 people comfortably. With a sleek design, it would nicely fit behind a sofa, under a stairway or even delineate an area. I plan to place it out on my large patio to store cushions a small tool kit and anything else that needs to get put away to avoid clutter. Loving this new backyard compost bin to replace our old one. There’s so much to like about this new COMPOSTING BIN FROM WAYFAIR 1. It is very sturdy and easy to use 2. It has 2 separate bins within the 50 gallon barrel design which rotates for faster composting of yard leaves and kitchen plant-based scraps 3.
