Its hard to find the words describing the enthusiasm and pleasure I have already experienced since installing this fan. I am pleased both with the fan’s performance, and its absence from the well packed box in which arrived several months ago and in the interim has been assuming substantial space in my bedroom closet. The fan has four settings numbered one through four. Four being the fastest. As it accelerates to level four, the curtains begin to blow with the high velocity air movement. Great design works great! However, its heavy had issues installing it. The fan comes with a base plate which secures it to the ceiling. The base plate adds 1 to 2 to the mount, so I had to go out buy longer bolts to secure it to the ceiling. Per other negative reviews regarding the beep noise of the remote buttons to the fan...it is annoying but not a deal breaker for us because the fan itself is aesthetically pleasing & the air flow is great.. This is AMAZING! So I did a bunch of investigating online and was made to believe that finding a light kit to fit my Casablanca ceiling fan would be a challenge. I even contacted a lighting store and had them contact the manufacturer to find out which kits would fit with my ceiling fan. They came back with only like 5 options, all ugly and kind of old lady ornate. I ended up reluctantly picking the least unattractive for over 100 bucks. In the meantime while I was waiting for all this communication, I decided to buy this kit just kind of on a whim and hope.
