This car cover is very light so it needs to be tied down securely in high winds or left off completely. That is a downside to it but it does a great job at keeping leaves, bird droppings, debris and water off of your vehicle if you want to keep your car looking clean for awhile. Very happy with the cover...it is of very good quality construction. The instruction manual can use a update, especially the first part where it talks about placing the elastic part under the license plate (there is no longer such an elastic part) and about punching a hole for the antenna (do check to see if your antenna unscrews before punching a hole in your cover). Great cover, takes two to get on and off if you are a small person, it's heavy. A tad oversized for my Subaru Imprezza Outback Sport, hangs to the ground and then some, even with the pull straps. Yes, I did purchase the correct size, questioned it several times before buying, this cover states it covers the Forester as well, a much larger vehicle then the Imprezza. So far my car has been dry after heavy rains and light snowfall, we will see how it holds up after heavier snows, whether the dampness will seep under and upwards.
