They’re outdoor rated, and I can see these spicing up a balcony or hard roof with a wood deck finish for a fraction of the price. They’re as cheap as the lamest pavers, without the heavy lifting or imprint. They’re made of a real (decently thick) wood finish on top of a hard plastic base. These absolutely allow water to drain if you don’t have an inch of water buildup, so they offer a slip-resistant finish easily. They seem like they’d stay on a lot of surfaces - from wood, to concrete, to harder soils/clay. A 3x3 web of tiles has enough friction to stay on most flat surfaces without permanent fastening. I used them to spruce up a laundry/utility room with an old beat-up wood floor and they did the trick.
