These are sturdy and well made lecterns. I have purchase 5 of these over the past couple of years. I have also purchased several other VFI podiums. I believe they are a bit over-priced for what they are made out of (fiberboard with laminate), but they should prove to be durable over time. The multiple grommet locations are great for different cabling options. The doors on the front and back also are great for getting computer equipment installed. One thing that stands out is the height, which is not too high for "height-challenged" individuals. This lectern also includes a slide out keyboard/mouse shelf. We're using this as a hostess stand, and it works great. It's large enough to hold all our menus and supplies, and everything is hidden from view. These mobile racks have locking tinted acrylic front and solid laminate rear doors which allow better access to your electronics than previous AV-series designs.

We ordered this to hold our phone and AV equipment in our new training room. I ordered the middle size and it was a little larger than what I needed but it will allow for any future equipment that may need to go in the rack. It also comes fully assembled. The back door is hard to open without the key in the lock to be able to pull it open. It should probably have a small handle, slot or push button to make it easier. We don't keep our locked.
