Blackened Steel, Black Oak, Canyon

The design never leaves out some of the Artless basics like 2" solid Walnut and complete comfort in the leather top. Artless X Stools come in three sizes yet operate under the same design principle. The X1 stool is 18" tall, the X2 counter height stool is 26", and finally the X3 is bar height at 30". The base is an 18" by 18" solid Walnut X. In profile, we can see a triangle rise up, and if viewed from the top we see the geometric circle of the seat.

Peacock

The Allison X Upholstered Dining Chair is low yet enveloping. The back is at the perfect height to provide comfort while maintaining a continuous line with the armrests’ profile. The rear vents allow the armrests and back to have minimal movement, providing hours of relaxation. The reversible memory foam cushion brings padded ease to the dinner table something usually associated with lounge chairs. Allison X Upholstered Dining Chair x is one of our favorite designs, with a base that features platonic geometry and the added comfort of a swivel mechanism. It is ideally utilized as a task chair.

Quality chair, the legs are squared adding to the strength and solidness. The quality of fabric and wood lead me to expect many, many years of life. Some reviews are the chair is small. The Gax XW table offers a parallel approach to our Gax collection, taking the Gax X base as a departure point, exchanging the stainless steel base for walnut, and adding a glass top. We’ve created a more intimate and casual table, best suited for smaller spaces.

Artless SQG Tables are available in two sizes and in two kinds of wood; they all have the same height of 14". The wood choices are Black Walnut and White Oak, both of which are finished with an oil rub. Artless SQG18B is the larger of the two bases. The base dimensions are 30" long by 18" wide with a height of 14". Our standard glass for them is 42" X 30".

Admiral, No Trays, Solid Walnut

Artless LRG sofas are our interpretation of what contemporary seating should be. We liked the Italian sofas but they seemed too slick. We designed the LRG and knew a solid wood wrap-around base was a must. Artless designs with all four sides in mind, and we needed a sofa with a compelling back and wood cradles the sofa so nicely. The LRG sofa is full of comfort with its down-proof ticking cushion and pillows, we find it immersive. The walnut cradle base creates a striking backside. The artless LRD sectional is the plushest, deepest, and widest of our sofa designs. We created the LRD with a continuous arm and back, for complete relaxation.

Artless ARS stools are quickly becoming a very diverse and growing family. Available in a variety of material tops and colorful bottoms, their undeniable versatility is being undermined by their striking personality. The top of the base is a closed hexagon, which is torqued and its sides erased as it reaches the floor. This simple, yet powerful form is capped by the contrast of the seat or tabletop, which brings purpose and meaning to it all. The Ars bases are made of solid steel, which is blackened, powder-coated, or dipped in copper, while the tops are available as leather seats, or in wood as stools or end tables.

ARTLESS Up Solutions 3 Seater is a clean modern sofa with the perfect length. The 3 Seater is comfortable and well crafted, thanks to the comfort of it’s down proof ticking cushions. The 3 Seater has three back cushion plus plenty of depth in one seat cushion. It has a low arm that gently curves up towards the back, complemented by piping detailing for just the right amount of modern detail. One can easily sleep here, if the occasion called for it.

Artless Caroline sofas are low, deep, and extremely comfortable. They are immersive enough for sunbathing while proportioned for hours of talking under the stars. Artless GAX 16 is the newest member of the GAX family. A bench seemed like the most obvious iteration of this design. Two 16” by 16” polished stainless steel bases on top of a 2” leather top. Beauty always wins. Artless GAX is the most architectural and most structural of artless designs. It is a very simple solution to a very common problem, a table with no apron. By designing a table with just two elements, the base and the top. A 2” solid wood top, 2” tubular base, no cross members, and no other structural elements; the cleanest possible approach meant to last a lifetime. The GAX tables and benches are workhorses camouflaged as stallions, sturdy, strong, and nearly indestructible, yet of undeniable beauty and elegance. Each GAX piece is different, yet they all have an "Indestructible" wood top, which contrasts nicely with the reflective nature of the polished stainless steel base. The solid wood board top has an oil-rubbed hand finish, giving off a matte, deep luster while allowing a coaster-free living. By using 2” solid wood, for structural purposes, artless also create a recreational worktable that tolerates hot and cold objects. The GAX tabletop is composed of solid lumber similar to a butcher-block, but much more beautiful. The GAX base is made of marine-grade stainless steel, meticulously hand polished to a mirror finish, a complicated and laborious task, but well worth it. The GAX base is not your typical reflective metal base. Artless uses stainless steel as opposed to the ubiquitous chromed steel, as chrome is a cheap and environmentally damaging practice.

The Melinda bench has beautiful proportions, with an asymmetric marriage between seat and base as its defining qualities. The front and back are different, allowing the playful nature of the bench to shine through from every angle. The Melinda bench is available with a storage shelf in solid walnut, which increases its functionality while enhancing its beauty. We never intended to design anything suitable for a mudroom, but if ever there was a piece, this would be the one.

Polished Stainless Steel, 36" W x 108" L

The Artless occidental table is composed of a supremely strong material, 100% afromosia wood. The afromosia boards drive the design and highlight the incredible beauty and durability of this West African species. The table’s clean and elegant design paired with the durability of the wood, guarantees a product which can withstand any environment. We hand-finish the table with an outdoor oil rub. Each table comes with a cover in our zig-zag fabric.

Love it!! You have to care for the top with a special oil that comes with the table. The wood can begin to look thirsty at times. Applying the oil takes care of this very easily. The table comes fully assembled and was difficult to get into my space. It is very heavy. I recommend paying for the service to have the table placed in the room in which it is going. My husband and I could not have moved it from the garage into the house on our own. The top is less raw/rustic than I thought it might look. Aside from a few knots in in the wood it looks very finished. I had a hard time picking chairs to go with the table. In the end I bought a simple white leather chair with very simple stainless legs. The base of the table is beautiful and I didn't want the legs of 6 chairs competing with it. I bought this as a gift. This wall unit is very sturdy. Arrives in one piece so no need to a assembly, unlike other products this is made of real wood. Very elegant and functional. I Put this up in an office room at work, I am sure it will look great if put up in a home office or living room. It's a bit ricey but for what you are getting it is well worth it. Short Stool (18" Seat Height), Matte Black Powder Coat

Artless Ligeti outdoor stools have a black or white powder coated base with an oak seat in Shou Sugi Ban. Shou Sugi Ban is an ancient Japanese technique in which the wood is charred with fire. By carbonizing the top layer the wood becomes resistant to the elements. The wood is charred, cooled, cleaned and sealed, thus it will not stain or streak.

Walnut, 14" W x 38" L x 72" W

Artless Focal Tables push the 90-degree angle we love so much to new extremes. This asymmetric wood and glass coffee table has the extraordinary quality of being simple in its lines but fairly complex in its looks. Our focal tables were developed as a counterargument to the block-like solidity of our SQG coffee tables. The latter ones are grounded and rigid while the focals' have movement and seem on the verge of taking off.

Artless Occidental Accoya Table is composed of solid Accoya wood boards. Accoya is a modified timber that has been pickled (Acetylation) to resist rot, defy the elements and stay strong for over 50 years, guaranteed. The purity of the raw material is matched by the simplicity of the design creating an everlasting creation. We leave the wood raw, showcasing its natural color variations and imperfections. Within a few months, Accoya will age into a greyish, silvery, pale wood. We prefer the aged look which also allows a maintenance-free experience.

36" W x 36" L

The artless ars xl table is an updated and expanded version of our ars base. This chunkier base is ideally suited for our ars 36”, 42”, and 48” diameter solid wood tops. The proportions of the base give the table some heft and appeal, which we did not anticipate when designing it. We are quite smitten by this design.

Blackbean, Blackened Steel

Artless Y1 stool is an accent stool with a metal base and a leather swivel top. Comprised of a slim yet elegant profiled base, the asymmetrical design of they gives the stool a simple playfulness we really enjoy. The top is our tried and true artless stool top which we also use for our X stools and ars counter stools. This seat top is incredibly comfortable and long-lasting.

Walnut

This stool is the acronym for “After Robert Smithson”. This stool has been heavily influenced by the artist and thinker Robert Smithson. We have not tried to formalize a single Smithson concept, but rather have been inspired by his writing and work.

Blackbean

Artless ARS Counter and Bar Stools are as the name suggests an elongated version of the ARS Stool plus the addition of a footrest. Comfort and aesthetics, we can’t decide. The ARS line did not start here but we really like the results of this remarkable variation. The seat top is available in any Artless leather as well as Walnut and White Oak.

Brown/Blue

Artless small writing unit is a slightly smaller variation of or very popular writing unit desk. The small writing unit has two long and deep pencil drawers on the top, while the file unit has two drawers and a filing drawer at the bottom. The lacquered panels on the front and back allow this piece to go up against a wall or sit in the middle of a room, gorgeous on all sides. While a solid walnut edge surrounds the perimeter of the desk protecting the most exposed area against nicks and scratches. The file unit rotates for added convenience.

Misterio White, 48" W x 48" L

Admiral

This chair is a clean, low, and wide modern club chair. The 1 Seater is comfortable and well crafted, designed to look especially good with solid Walnut plank legs flanking its sides. The good looks are complemented by the comfort of its down-proof ticking cushions offering plenty of depth.

Dark Green

Artless Melinda's Chair is the embodiment of melancholy. A slight anthropomorphic aspect surrounds its compact frame. While the form is soft and feminine, the back has a bit more tension as the walnut base and upholstery frame interact.
