I love the style of this medallion and was SO EXCITED to receive it! However, the color in real life is NOTHING like the stock photos. It is an off white with rusty red color distressing, not gray distressing as it appears in the pictures. Im sending it back. I bought this to compliment a chandelier that I also recently purchased from Wayfair see attached pictures and I love it. It was inexpensive, well made and very attractive. Best of all it is fairly light (less than 10 lbs.) As I have a cable installed in my attic which enables me to raise and lower the light for cleaning, I was able to make a quick jig using some scrap wood, apply construction adhesive to the back and pull the medallion up onto the ceiling rather than having to screw it to the ceiling using the hardware that was provided.
