We hung ours from a tree. In the rain, in the sun, it works and looks good. It was a bit pricey so I don't know if I would order it again, but it is definitely weather resistant and looks just like the photo. No fading, no peeling. We ordered this but did not want the tree insignia on it. We assumed that only the tree would not be there and the vertical accents would still be present. If you order it without the insignia, the whole middle accents are not included. Arrived much sooner than expected. Only negative was. The light fixture was missing the ground wire on all pieces and the self tapping screws that were supplied per the directions.
