These plain panel moldings are manufactured from 100% recycled high impact Polystyrene polymer. Architectural products recycled polystyrene panel moldings have the strength and impact durability of solid red oak. I used this as picture frame moulding in a bedroom makeover. It was easy to paint. I used a miter saw to cut it and did have some edges that frayed a bit. Sanding helped.
