Great appliance and support, but the manual is a puzzle!
Overall, this exhaust fan is a really solid product and easily earns 5 stars. The specifications match the product page exactly. Right out of the box, you can tell it’s well-made. It comes incredibly well-packaged with tons of padding. Disposing of all that styrofoam is a bit of a chore, but it definitely kept the appliance and the tempered glass completely safe during shipping. They even included a nice pair of cooking mittens as a surprise gift, which was a nice touch.
The material quality feels heavy-duty and durable, not cheap at all. The suction power is excellent. To give you an idea of its strength, it had enough suction to hold the paper installation manual flat against the grates at just speed 2 (out of 4). The noise level is also exactly as advertised—noticeable but totally reasonable for how much air it moves. The industrial-grade metal filters are already doing a great job catching oil after my first week of heavy cooking. The LED lights are also well placed and have the right level of brightness. They are removable and easy to change, if they get damaged. Similarly, the control panel is super easy to replace with 2 screws, if it ever needs a replacement.
I tackled the installation completely by myself, so it is definitely doable as a one-man job, but the instruction manual is pretty rough. It is hard to read, and it doesn't clearly explain which screws go where. There was also a plastic collection piece for the motor included in the box that isn't mentioned anywhere in the instructions; I had to turn to Google to figure out where it went. The trickiest physical part of the install was attaching the exhaust vent duct to the unit alone. My advice is to pull the duct all the way down, secure it to the unit first, and then let it compress back up as you lift the hood onto the support brackets.
The gesture control feature is awesome once you figure it out, but the manual's diagram is misleading. It looks like you need to wave two hands, which didn't work for me. I reached out to customer support, and they sent over a video showing that you actually just need to wave one hand quickly across both sensors. Since figuring that out, it works perfectly and I use it exclusively to keep from smudging the glass.
Speaking of support, they were fantastic. They seem to be based in China, so they reply during their daytime hours, but they were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive over both email and WhatsApp. Overall, I am very pleased with the fan and the support team, even if the manual needs a rewrite. I highly recommend it if you are in the market for a powerful, good-looking range hood.. Shrenik. Thu Jun 04 2026
