I purchased the turquoise basin and it is absolutely stunning. I only gave it 4 stars because mines came with a crack on both sides of the basin which isn't aesthetically pleasing. However I decided to just keep it anyway as is and consider it charming.. I purchased this purely for gardening. I would highly recommend going over it with waterproof sealant if you want to use it as a plant container. I didn't and the paint started peeling off after a few weeks. I also wish it was an inch or 2 deeper. Despite the cons I am considering buying an extra basin. Pros: Beautiful! These are really durably made and beautiful for any kind of decorating. I didn’t read the description they are 3 different sizes and no holes in the bottom for water drainage. I was going to use them for plants on my back deck but they can easily used for holding extra toilette paper rolls, table decoration, dog toy holder, etc. I might still use them and drill holes for water drainage. I ordered this to use to store magazines in and it is perfect for this. It is nicely antiqued (I purchased the Natural) and goes with my decor very nicely. While made fairly sturdily is is much lighter in weight than you would think. Pros: Comes ready to use--no assembly and is lighter in weight Cons: Each one is unique so you may see areas on it which were repaired. Completely handcarved out of wood, these beautiful bowls are made in the former Tibetan-style. In the old days, Buddhist monks used these to ask for alms to support their pilgrimages, generally carving them out of pine wood as it was a soft wood and easier to control. Beautiful and handmade, all of these bowls are distinct, though some may slightly vary.

I looked ALL OVER THE PLACE for a small bowl to place on a little console table in the entryway. I needed something wooden, rustic looking, and small enough to fit on the table.
