American Acrylic

Founded in 1978 as a moldmaker and supplier to the marble industry, American Acrylic and Injection, Inc. has grown rapidly. They are now one of the largest suppliers of acrylic bathtubs in the United States. They operate out of a 100,000 square foot building in Farmersville, Texas. In the 1980s, a relatively new type of bathtub was making its way into U.S. households. A quality acrylic surface backed by fiberglass was proving to be an excellent, cost-effective solution to gel-coated fiberglass and marble tubs. Their ability to produce their own molds combined with their experience in fiberglass and vacuum-forming production, resulted in a natural fit for our new product line: the acrylic/fiberglass tub.
