The handle is attached only on the outside and after having this option, I don’t know why all pans don’t do this. Great size and the enameling is well done. I roasted a chicken with vegetables for a first use with great results. I do wish the lid was domed or raised a bit though. It heats up evenly and food sticks less to it than my other stainless steel pans so I prefer to use it over those. The picture is after four rounds of smaller pancakes made in the pan with only one application of olive oil, whereas my other pans I had to keep adding oil or butter or it’s definitely going to stick. The handle is attached only on the outside and after having this option, I don’t know why all pans don’t do this. I ordered this pot to replace one I had for ages. I liked the nice clean look of this. It arrived within days and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the material, the balance of weight when handled. the slotted steam opening, and the incremental measurements inside the pot. The heat dispersed evenly around the bottom when cooking and I different feel there were hot spots. All in all I think this is a well made very easily handled piece of cookware. I like the heaviness of this mortar and pestle. I use it a lot. I am using it for smashing garlic, grinding cumin and other spices and herbs. I am learning other uses for this too. It is a good size. This is a great pan. It heats evenly and is completely non stick for easy clean up. I thought it was an odd shape but it's perfect for eggs, bacon and everything else you would make in a circular frying pan. My only problem is the handle. I couldn't figure out how to attach it properly so it's wobbly when I move it, like it feels like it's going to fall off. Ordered this pot to replace one that I had for ages. It came within a few days and I was impressed with the quality. I also loved the balance of the weight when you picked the pot up by the handle and the steam slot on the top lid. The inside measurement level indications and pour spouts were nice added touches. While cooking, the pot boiled water quickly, dispersed heat evenly on the bottom, and was a real quick clean. Only downside was the top handle on the lid got hot, that's why the 4 stars.. Lorraine.
