I ordered a 3” metal box spring to put under a 12” memory foam mattress and it’s the perfect height to cover the opening under the headboard but isn’t too high. So.... this mirror is BEAUTIFUL! The finished vibe it creates is just stunning! Love the ornate details! The only thing that I'll need to change on it is the finish for my specific room. It comes super spray-painted gold looking, and for my collected-European home, it's just not the look I need... so I'm gonna add some aged brass colored Rub n Buff to the tops of the details along the entirety of the frame, then it'll be perfect.
