I chose this fixture for my home office. It's absolutely beautiful and gives plenty of light. The shade is acrylic, which makes it lightweight, but it looks like a pricey glass fixture. I have it installed on a vaulted ceiling, and it was easy to get it adjusted so the light hangs level, even though the base is flush against the slant of the ceiling. It operates beautifully on an "Advanced Dimmer Switch for LED and Incandescent Bulbs" (Leviton item DSL01-LW). In my pics, forgive the mess in the rest of the room—we're working from the top down and just got this light up yesterday.
