This dehumidifier has a nice digital display and is easy to read. It has 2 fan speeds and I like the option to set a certain amount of time for the unit to run. Some of the control options are not explained in the user manual (like what is purpose of the “Air Supply” indicator). And the 5 safety instruction regarding cleaning the unit is an example of not being proofed by an English proficient person (photo of page provided). It’s easy to open and remove the water tank for emptying having both the tank and access to the reusable filter in the front is very handy. Although the dehumidifier is a bit heavy, it rolls easily to move from room to room. The unit’s humidity gauge shows a higher room level than our 2 digital gauges, but it seems to be doing a good job of removing humidity from our house. So far it is working well. I gave it 4 stars due to lack of detailed info for the Control Panel. UPDATE After using the unit for a bit, there is a noticeable hum even when running on low. This is a really good air purifier! Small, lightweight, and uncomplicated. Warning, you need to pull of the two sides as shown and remove the plastic off of the filters on both sides. The air that comes out of here is cold and it has a lot of additional features like wind speed and oscillating up and down or left and right. You can set it for cooling, dehumidifying, or just the fan. It has a timer and a remote control. It cools down our bedroom very quickly because it’s an average size room. The living room would probably take longer since it’s a larger size. The description online is accurate other than where they say it’s also a heater, which this unit does not do. The online description is also accurate when it says it’s 43 inches tall and 11 inches wide. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how large these dimensions are because it looks huge in our bedroom. The least desirable feature of this unit is the fact that it is very loud. You can set it to low, medium and high, which affects the noise level, but it is still very loud at the low level. Because I have never owned a portable air conditioner, I was not thinking it would be this loud. I think it would be less noisy in a larger room.
