I am very pleased with the Hitchin 47" Wide 1 Drawer Reversible Orientation Modern Farmhouse Writing Desk with Cabinet. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and looks even better in person than it does in the photos. The modern farmhouse style blends perfectly with my home office, and it gives my office space a clean, organized, and stylish appearance. Assembly took me about two and a half hours from start to finish. The instructions were easy enough to follow, although there are quite a few pieces, so I would recommend taking your time and organizing the hardware before you begin. But the pieces were labeled which was a big plus. It definitely isn't a quick assembly for one person, but the effort is worth it once everything is put together. One of my favorite features is how sturdy the desk feels. Once assembled, there is no wobbling or shaking, and it feels like a quality piece of furniture that will last for years. The cabinet provides convenient storage for office supplies, while the drawer is perfect for keeping smaller items neatly tucked away. I also appreciate the reversible design, which allows you to choose which side you want the cabinet that best fits your room layout. The desktop offers plenty of workspace for a laptop, monitor, notebooks, and other essentials without feeling cramped. It has enough room to comfortably work, study, or even tackle craft projects. I am extremely happy with this purchase. While assembly requires some patience and a couple of hours of your time, the end result is a beautiful, sturdy, and functional desk that looks much more expensive than its price. Assembling this cabinet was made easy because they take the guesswork out of it.  Every piece has a letter, and the hardware is packaged for each step.  It was finished in about an hour.  It is sturdy and I like the two file drawers and three shelves.  The back has two cord cutouts on the shelf side, which is nice for small electronics placed on the shelves.. It’s a nice bookcase. Directions were correct but drilled holes on cross piece in back were wrong causing the finished side to be down. Cant see it though. Quality nice, color true to the pic. Each step of directions the hardware is in separate bags and panels are labeled, so easy to assemble. Drawers hold legal size hanging folders.. Anonymous. Tue Jul 07 2026

This is an naverage cabinet. It waa a little difficult to put together . On some pieces it took two of us to hold the pieces together to attach the dowels and connectors. The doors do fit wonderful.
