Absolutely stunning! Painted the plane styrofoam tiles with acrylic metallic paint, then antique with black acrylic paint. Used an instant grab glue to put tiles up. Simple, easy process. I am finishing putting these tiles up. Painted them prior to installation with metallic acrylic paint, two coats. Antiqued them with black acrylic paint. The result is stunning and looks amazingly like old copper. I spend a lot of time just laying on the floor looking up. For anyone thinking that styrofoam is not going to look beautiful, they are mistaken. The tiles I ordered for my bedroom arrived today, looking forward to putting them up as well.. Jo. I started hanging these tiles from the center of the room and hang more than half up before realizing they were not straight. I took them down and removed all the adhesive by hand before hanging them back up. Make sure to draw chalk lines to get proper alignment. Also, I used a 3.5 gallons of FRP adhesive called TITEBOND FAST GRAB FRP to adhere to ceiling. This adhesive kept the tile from sagging unlike liquid nails. These glue up tiles were the perfect solution for my attached one car garage that had a really bad unpainted drywall ceiling for the past 45 years. Snapping a few chalk lines made installation quick and easy. Because the ceiling was so uneven in spots a few of my lines got wonky but I was able to compensate by slightly adjusting a few tiles as I go. Crown molding has the ability to add beauty to any room. The benefit of foam (EPS) crown molding is that it does not shrink, it is ready to paint and installation can be easily done by one person as the molding is lightweight and comes in 6.t ft lengths.

Five stars because the molding came exactly as pictured with a nice crisp profile. It was very well packaged. This was important because the foam material is much more delicate and lightweight than other crown moldings I’ve worked with. Nailing this stuff up is impossible - I tried (even with low pressure in my air compressor), but nails shoot all the way through. You’ll have to use an adhesive, but at least that way there are no holes to fill. I used silicone with double stick gorilla tape in a few spots to hold the molding in place while the silicone cured. Most importantly, despite being made of such delicate material, it cut down into sharp, perfect angles with my miter saw. It also paints well! All in all I highly recommend this molding as long as you’re prepared to improvise a bit with adhesive.. Monica. Washington, Dc. Fri Apr 07 2023

These are really pretty and they'll work out for us. I was a little surprised that they are basically like Styrofoam- super light and thin so you have to be very careful not to crease or crack them. Probably not a great solution if they'll be up close but will work fine up on a ceiling or something where they're a little further away and you can't tell it's like Styrofoam.
