First off, as other people have said, these tiles are like the Styrofoam plates that I grew up using. I was a little nervous about that. Make sure you use a glue that is made for adhering foam. They went up easy. Youre going to have to paint because I could see the glue through the Styrofoam after I put them up. Caulk the seams with a paintable acrylic caulk. Acrylic or latex water-based paint is recommended. I used latex. I was able to do all of the paint with a 38 nap and cover everything except the seams, which I used a brush. I went light on the first coat to get it covered and prep for the second coat. Im pretty happy with the results. I received the tiles about 24 hours ago and have been able to get my 6x10 bathroom through the first coat of paint since then. Overall, a pretty fast and easy project.. Lisa. Iowa. Sat Jun 08 2024

I had a cracked plasterboard ceiling where it had seam tape constantly coming apart. Surface was flat, but seam tape just would not hold... So, decided to try these Polystyrene Clue up Ceiling Tile.. I prepainted them white before gluing them up.. I got my center lines and started from center out so tile would be balanced on the ceiling... The ceiling looks great... Feels like I am sleeping in an old Victorian Church since ceiling are done. I liked it so much I installed these tiles in my small bathroom ceiling... Crown molding has the ability to add beauty to any room. The benefit of foam (EPS) crown molding is that it does not shrink, it is ready to paint and installation can be easily done by one person as the molding is lightweight and comes in 6.t ft lengths.

Five stars because the molding came exactly as pictured with a nice crisp profile. It was very well packaged. This was important because the foam material is much more delicate and lightweight than other crown moldings I’ve worked with. Nailing this stuff up is impossible - I tried (even with low pressure in my air compressor), but nails shoot all the way through. You’ll have to use an adhesive, but at least that way there are no holes to fill. I used silicone with double stick gorilla tape in a few spots to hold the molding in place while the silicone cured. Most importantly, despite being made of such delicate material, it cut down into sharp, perfect angles with my miter saw. It also paints well! All in all I highly recommend this molding as long as you’re prepared to improvise a bit with adhesive.. Monica. Washington, Dc. Thu Apr 06 2023

Yes it’s styrofoam, but that makes it super easy to install IF you actually read the directions and use the correct adhesive. You can paint is using standard latex wall paint if you’re careful it’ll look amazing. Very easy to cut very easy to install. I painted mine first then over rolled and caulked the seams after I installed a few. If you get the 3d ones I would get an air sprayer and put 2 coats of paint on then install caulk and paint the seams. As with anything if you want good results read the directions first look up the videos and take your time.
