Although we’ve only had this for two weeks, it seems to be a very good product. Well-constructed. Solid. We installed on a brick wall so a hammer drill made the process much easier. My only reason for four stars instead of 5 is that the instructions are a bit lacking, especially in figuring exactly which hanger mounting holes make the best sense to utilize given the TV’s size and the location of outlets. Our power outlet was toward the bottom of the TV so we had to mount the brackets “not too high and not too low” on the back or the TV in order to block the outlet from view yet allow enough clearance over our mantel for decorations. This tv mount is okay. Needs morestronger anchors. I have my 55” tv mounted to it and I’m still worried it will fall. It’s quite heavy, heavier than I expected for some reason but it works. The mount itself is easy to instal just had to find the right height. I suggest going with a mount that’s meant for a larger tv if your hanging a 55” tv. I wish I had used one suites for a larger tv. The product itself is as advertised and works perfectly in the setting in which it is being used. However, the assembly instructions were not easy to follow and are printed such that the diagrams are virtually impossible to see (too small).
