Best Quilts, Coverlets, & Sets With Reviews

This is a nice, sturdy quilt set that is going to become the centerpiece of whatever you mix and match it with. The feel of the fabric is a little stiff for me but softens with washing. The set is well made. The colors are much more muted than in the photo. Definitely more boho than Washi tape. But I love it! Mixed it with other Wayfair sets (geometric duvet and plain dark sheets) and it is very versatile across myltiple color schemes. Don’t be afraid to experiment with this piece! I was afraid it would be too much but it totally breathed new life into our room. The reverse blue side is perfect for a more toned down look if you want that. Very happy with this purchase.

After reading many reviews I have to say that people really need to wash this first before judging. It softens up beautifully after washing, but it does fade. Still beautiful (I bought gray/orange) will see how it holds up in time. Here's my beef...it shrinks...a lot. I have it on a full sized mattress and the entire box spring is exposed. This just covers the 7 inch deep mattress. There is no way if two adults will be covered all the way under this once it has shrunk. And that's just with the first wash. If it shrinks more, which I suspect will happen, it will no longer fit and will look really stupid with so much mattress and box spring exposed. As for weight...I'm in Western NY and this is perfect for winter if you add a warm blanket under this quilt. I use a 100% cotton waffle blanket and top sheet under and it's warm and cozy. Not too heavy, not too light. If you prefer a weighted feel, this might be too light alone. The pillow cases also shrank but I was able to squeeze the pillows in there without worry of ripping the pocket flap. To summarize, If this was about 4 inches wider and two inches longer, this would be a FIVE STAR quilt. Other than the shrinkage, this is great for a full size mattress. I would never try to put this on a queen. You would not have enough width to cover the bed and hang down the sides very far after or even Before washing. Right now I'm on the list for a king sized quilt to rightly cover my full sized bed.

It’s not the best quality quilt and there are loose strands from the stitching but I bought it for the price because our two big dogs tend to sleep with us. I replace the quilts and blankets and such every few months (yes I wash them frequently as well so they need to do well in a washer and dryer) because of wear and tear from my pit bull mix and shephound mix (after they’re replaced they become couch blankets) So far it’s good for what I needed it for - it is very light weight so I bought another style quilt to layer over it. I got the grey in this comforter. It’s like a silver blue “grey” and I layered a Tahoe quilt over it because the taupe is better at camouflageing the dirt and stains from the dogs. The two colors together

I purchase the Dallastown Quilt Set in Blue. I purchased the quilt months ago and I’m just now reviewing. At least I can inform you how the quilt has held up. I purchased the quilt set for day to day functionality and comfort. However, I arranged the quilt as a part of my layering to give my bed a full, warm and inviting look. I don’t care for a flat bed. I enjoy tying in different colors and textures to my bedding. The quilt is well made and the color has held up well. The fabric is a soft cotton feel. It has a stitch design that gives the quilt character. I love the fact that pillow case shams were provided with the quilt. I used the quilt as my everyday bed cover. If I want a more complete look I roll my heavy fancy comforter over the quilt. However, I still expose my quilt for the layering effect. I placed my elegant comforter shams with my quilt shams and a few other decorative pillows. Sorry I don’t have it together this morning for photos. Maybe I can include later. Overall the quilt is good quality, it’s held up well. I recommend purchasing if your setting on the fence.

Another SHOW STOPPER! Beautiful beautiful! Exactly as shown. Rich beautiful colors!Lightweight, soft, flexible. Fits nicely across a queen bed. Enough over lap to cover mattress and allow enough fabric to tuck into bed frame or leave out to allow wooden frame to be visible. Note in my opinion if you have a mattress and box spring, it most likely will NOT be long enough to cover that too with a deep mattress like I have. It is at top edge ( head of bed ) and enough drape at foot of bed to tuck into a footboard, but not enough length to tuck under mattress. I’d call this a coverlet. It’s perfect for us, my husband does not like blankets tucked. I did both ways for demonstration purpose only. I included a close up of fabric with lights on and in natural light as well as low light. The sale price of 88 is a perfect price point for fabric quality, weight stitching. I would have been a bit disappointed if I had paid the list price of 200. It’s going to be easy to wash in my home washer. I purchased the Queen or fullQueen whichever way it is listed.

This Ruffle Skirt Bedspread Set caught my eye immediately. The coverlet is a great find! I purchased in Yellow which is very difficult to find especially in the correct shade. It's a pale yellow like creamy butter. I also received two king size shams that were generously sized. I washed it in cold water and low dryer setting before putting on the bed. It did not shrink and held it's shape beautifully. The only issue I had is the same as what some others have mentioned about the material getting dirty. Even though the item was in a cylindrical-shaped plastic bag when shipped, the end of the packaging came open and some dirt managed to get in. In addition, I know it's Made In China but when I rolled the coverlet out to inspect, there were little flecks of black dirt scattered throughout. It looked like it occurred possibly from a machine that does the folding/rolling of the coverlet. I went over the coverlet inch by inch pretreating all of the black marks I could find and luckily it all came out. Overall, I love it and will still give it 5 Stars.

Update: I've now purchased four of these! Love them! Perfect weight and easy to clean and love all of the colors! I added more pictures...I've now bought Taupe (darkest tan), Bone (middle color...almost looks pinkish in pictures but not so much in person) and Off White (lightest color...not yellow at all!). Nice. Thinner side/not fluffy at all. Easy to wash. Yes...it will eventually lose some stitches if it's washed a lot, but it's held up very well so far for me...and our 50 pound bulldog sleeps on it, walks on it and it's held up well. I thought we would only use it in summer, but we've been using it for all seasons. Our old comforter was large and fluffy...the clean look of this is nice! You can leave it loose or tuck it in under the mattress. We have a king sized bed and it actually reaches past/covers the mattress and box spring on the sides!!! UPDATE: I have a total of four of these quilts! Gray/King, Bone/Queen, Taupe/Twin & King. They are great! They wash easily. They hold up well. The color shown is true to what arrives. I like the weight for year round...they don't let "breeze" through so they keep you cozy, but are not too heavy or hot. I think they look great on a bed as well. Very simple yet classy/clean. Apparently I didn't put a picture of the first order (gray) and I now use it for our trundle/guest bed so it's not made for me to take a picture. Pictures shown are of the taupe (close up and twin) and bone (queen bed that is made). Both are great neutrals. Bone is obviously lighter. The bone has "ivory" colored curtains behind the bed for reference. It almost seems a bit "pink" but it doesn't come off that way in person to me at all.

I am guessing that this is meant for a summer blanket and since we are already planning to change over to a summer blanket, this one should be perfect for us. Also, the size is not as big as I am expecting it to be. I will upload some pictures so you can see them. Although I must say that it comes down just nicely on the sides. From top to bottom is where it is a little short, pull it down a little bit to cover some of the ends of the bed. Though it leaves a big gap at the top. I will be using the shams and setting them up so I can cover these gaps. I have a queen size bed in my other bedroom and it will be a perfect size for it, too bad the designs won't match the theme in there. So as of now, I am deciding to either turn it over, using the other side in the other bedroom or I can always have our camper use it. Either way, this is alright, plus the price is good. Overall this set is really nice and cute. Edit: Unfortunately I just realized I could not upload pictures for reasons I do not really know. Too bad, this quilt is really cute, and want to upload it.

The fabric is polyester, so while it looks like cotton, it doesn’t have that super soft cotton feel at first, instead, it has a slightly plasticky texture. That said, after washing and using it a bit, it does soften up and becomes much more comfortable and flexible. My bed is slightly smaller than a queen but bigger than a full and this quilt fits perfectly. The pillowcases (it comes with two) fit well on standard pillows. It’s warm and cozy to sleep under, but definitely something to skip on hotter nights, it can get a little too warm. Stitching and overall quality seem solid, and for the price, I think it’s a great buy. I’d totally recommend it if you’re going for a light, breezy look for summer.

I have been wanting to have an "all-season" lightweight quilt that can be doubled as a blanket and as a bedspread too. And this did the job! I am just so delighted with this purchase and I find it so supple and very soft. I got a full size or a queen size in blue wide stripes. This looks more turquoise in the actual as the picture shows it. I got a pretty excellent result after washing it in cold and medium drying it. I know that this review may sound too good to be true but believe me when I say that I am loving it so much! This comes in four color variations so I'd be careful when clicking before you order. EDIT: It has been several days now that I have been using this quilt and I am just as happy as before. This is still very cozy and washes so well. Even my dog and kitten love it too. Surprisingly my kitten has not damaged it. Really a great purchase!

I bought this quilt from Wayfair after looking on so many sites for quilts. I absolutely love this one. It is really large and the king fits my queen bed perfectly. It almost goes to the floor on both sides. I love, love, love all the pretty bright colours of medium red, yellow, light and dark mauve, black, teal and some blue flowers on the white background. It really brightens up the bedroom with the white furniture. When I bought this quilt, it was a certain price, then Wayfair lowered the price on their site two times. I got in touch with them and they gave me two credits to my account. Way to go Wayfair. I highly recommend this quilt. It is tangerine on the other side and it is quite thick without any fill. I am using it now and it is Winter in Ontario, Canada. My only beef with Wayfair is that I also purchased the valance to match this quilt and before I received it, I found it on Amazon.ca for 20.00 cheaper and Wayfair would not match the price, so I am sending it back. Too bad.

Love this quilt and shams! It's colorful without being gaudy and would work with a wide variety of accent colors. The reverse side provides a very different look. The colors are soft -- lighter than in some of the pictures on the website. The red tone, in particular, is closer to a warm pink than a maroon. When it arrived, I washed it in cold water and dried it on medium before using. It is wide enough to cover our fairly tall queen-sized mattress. Since we have a platform bed with drawers, it is perfect because it doesn't interfere with using the drawers. If we had box springs, we'd definitely need a bed skirt. As others have said, this isn't a heavy quilt, so we are currently using a blanket under it, but that means it can stay on the bed year round.

This bedspread is long, maybe longer than I need. I considered sending it back, but I think this longer length might be more practical if I ever change my bed. The color looks a little faded like a lemony yellow, but both those things could be positive or negative depending on your opinion. I deducted a star because the color lacks depth, but again, that's very subjective. You might love it. I can tell you that it really ties my room together and the color is unassuming so it doesn't compete with the other elements in the room. This bedspread is not a center piece, but it's a great team player. Allergy-friendly products are important to me, so I bought a comforter cover that was a bit underwhelming. I was happy to find this allergy-treated spread to layer in some color. It also holds the bed together when I'm sleeping. I don't wake up to covers half on the floor and all over the place.
