It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it. Love how it looks on the bed. When I first took it out of the freeze dried pkg it was so wrinkled I didn’t think I would ever get all the wrinkles out but my husband put it in the washer and spun it out. Dried a while on cool air. Then took it out and laid it flat on an extra bed and left it there to air dry. It looked much better. Awesome purchase, especially for the price. It's I'd give this comforter 4.5 out of 5 stars. The only reason it doesn't get a full five is that it's a bit stiffer than I anticipated, but that's to be expected with a tightly woven allergen-barrier fabric. Since I use a duvet cover anyway, it isn't a dealbreaker. It also feels a little warmer than I expected, so if you're a very hot sleeper, you may want to keep that in mind. That said, I specifically wanted an all-season comforter, and it strikes a good balance between warmth and comfort. The biggest surprise was the value.
