It is as expected. I have a full bed but upsized for a queen comforter because I wanted some extra length and I would definitely recommend doing that. I don’t think I would have liked how the full looked. It is an appropriate thickness I think, not too light, not too heavy. It holds some wrinkles but that is in the description. Since I use a duvet cover anyway, it isn't a dealbreaker. It also feels a little warmer than I expected, so if you're a very hot sleeper, you may want to keep that in mind. That said, I specifically wanted an all-season comforter, and it strikes a good balance between warmth and comfort. The biggest surprise was the value. Love how it looks on the bed. When I first took it out of the freeze dried pkg it was so wrinkled I didn’t think I would ever get all the wrinkles out but my husband put it in the washer and spun it out. Dried a while on cool air. Then took it out and laid it flat on an extra bed and left it there to air dry. It looked much better.
