It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it. Inspired by pure thickness. Maybe we've lost our minds here at coma inducer or maybe we've always had a couple of screws loose??? But we've become obsessed with thick. Seriously though, who likes a weak comforter? Does anyone enjoy getting a comforter vacuum smushed in a box that looks like a flat sheet and comes with instructions to shake it out and wait 4 days? And, after those 4 days are up, it's still so thin you wonder if you were sent a flat sheet. The thought of such a comforter makes us sick! Sure, it's harder to create, produce, and ship such impossibly huge comforters that are "thicker than thick"... But isn't that the whole point? With the number of hours, we sleep (or should sleep) each night, it should be a crime to have a flat sheet-like comforter. Our thicker-than-thick coma inducer consists of 800 gsm of thick, pure goodness. Overly thick filling combined with cozy soft plush creates a deep sleep experience like no other. The pinch plates are really cute and it would’ve been OK right out of the box, but I did give it a quick little steam just to get out some of the wrinkles from being folded. To give you some perspective, the typical coma inducer has a 280 gsm fill rate, and most, if not all, other coma inducers are under 400 gsm. So when we add an extra 1000 gsm in fill weight, you know this is a thick boi. What makes this coma inducer even more impressive is that we didn't use just any filling. We used grade polyester with a blow-in technique to create a down alternative feel. Each square is like an overfilled, squishy plush stuffed animal. We then coupled this thick, high-quality filling with an outer ultra-cozy plush that has a hand feel like petting the fluffiest cloud or a cuddly dog that had one too many meals. And that takes us full circle to the real naming inspiration, which originated three years ago from a dog video that became an internet meme. Emily Flowers, a coma-inducer super fan, won the naming challenge for this thickest of coma inducers with her name suggestion: Dam boi he thick. There were a lot of "normal" - sounding names suggested, but when put to a vote, customers agreed that for a coma inducer like this special, it needed an equally attention-grabbing name.
