This plush, Plush pillow is made with microfiber fill, a high-quality polyester designed to mimic the properties of down. Microfiber traps less air than down and is a tad denser, so it does provide a bit more support than natural down. One benefit of a synthetic pillow is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not! Plush Support is a flatter-style pillow perfect for front or back sleepers who need gentle support.

I purchased two sets of the Luxury Pinch Pleat White Down Feather Pillows by Puredown in King Size—one set of 2 for myself and one set of 2 for my daughter. Overall, the quality of the pillows is impressive, and the material is soft and inviting. However, they just aren’t the right fit for me. Personally, I find the pillows to be overly stuffed. They feel quite firm, making it difficult for me to find a comfortable position it feels like I’m wrestling with them rather than enjoying a restful night’s sleep. I often feel that they hold my head up too high, which puts my neck at an awkward angle. In contrast, my daughter really enjoys her pillows, so it seems that pillow preference is quite subjective. I tend to prefer a much softer, squishier pillow that I can easily hug. Additionally, I wish these pillows stayed cooler throughout the night, as I find they don’t provide the refreshing sensation I’m looking for. Although I will be returning my set, I’ve already ordered a softer set from Wayfair, which should arrive by Wednesday. They’ll be picking up the pillows that Im returning tomorrow. My daughter, however, has decided to keep hers. I wanted to share my experience in hopes it helps others with their decision. It’s all about personal preference. When I contacted Wayfair to arrange my return, the process was seamless. These have a nice soft fill that feels snuggly uncomfortable. Unfortunately I searched for a firm, side sleeping, supportive pillow. These are not that. You cannot slide sleep with these pillows. They offer no support and are basically flat with the weight of your hand let alone the weight of your head. I would recommend these for stomach or back sleepers only. They do not have enough fill for decorative pillows either, so I am returning. I also noticed that the stitching on the side of the pillow is coming apart. It’s either a miss-stitch, or a really bad job at closing the seam. There are loose threads and it looks like it would easily come apart. I only opened one of two pillows because I could immediately see it wouldn’t work for me, so this may have been a one off issue. Overall, they might be nice pillows for a back or stomach sleeper. If they edited their product information and removed “side sleeper,” they would have a lot less returns and fewer negative reviews. You can’t be all things to all people.
