I was a bit concerned when I purchased 2 sets of the Eddie Bauer 100%flannel full size, sheet sets because of the low price. Upon receiving them they were packaged as a present with a lovely ribbon. These sheets were discounted because they were leftover holiday patterns. I chose the blue and white plaid and the pine cone patterns. Washed them and put then on the bed. They are absolutely the softest and most comfortable sheets I can ever remember using. Last night was the fist night using them, now I can't wait to crawl into bed . My husband likes them also. I really like these sheets. I washed them and they wash up good. Nice material. Actually feel like Cotten and not a sateen or blend. They do feel crisp. That’s what I wanted. So far, so good. I fully transitioned to all cotton bedding and these were the first cotton sheets I have ever bought. I expected the roughness from my research and am still waiting for them to cozy up. I have washed 2/3 times now and they still feel the same. After about 2 weeks of use without washing, they do soften up and then back in the wash they crunch up again. I am still open minded, though. I love the pattern - it is even more pretty in person. I also really appreciate the envelope pillowcases, as I hate having the inserts show. I have a queen Casper mattress about 12” tall. The queen fitted sheet fit wonderfully and had plenty of space to fully cover the mattress. The top sheet confused me - there is a clear fold/stitched section on the top that I believe is meant to be folded over for design. When I put that fold at the top of my bed, the top sheet cannot be folded under the sides or ends of the bed (not big enough). I am not sure if that fold is supposed to be on the side, but there is only one. Overall, I am super pleased with this sheet set and will use for many years to come. I got the white/khaki.. Allison.
