Made from ultra-soft plaid printed plush and reversing to a cozy Berber, this comforter set provides an exceptionally soft and cozy feel. The down alternative filling provides maximum warmth.

When I need a quality product for our home Wayfair is where I usually place the order. We needed a comforter to replace the one I ruined. We have a 40 year old waterbed, one of the side rails was shedding some of the fake leather, tried to control it with duct tape. Not a good idea, some of the adhesive transferred to the sherpa side of our current comforter. Had the side rails recovered properly, with no duct tape used. We are pleased with our new comforter set. Was reasonably priced at the time of purchase, 54% off, looked at the listing again today and the price was reduced another 6%. Should have waited a week.. Au Village is an ode to the timeless pastoral scene. The soft ivory twill fabric serves as the canvas for this classic toile theme. Imagine delicate vignettes—rustic cottages, blooming florals, and perhaps a shepherdess tending her flock—all elegantly printed across the top of the bed. The ensemble includes reversible pillow shams, Euro shams adding a touch of European sophistication, and three reversible cushions—your creative palette for mixing and matching. Au Village isn’t just bedding; it’s a nod to tradition, whispered through every thread.

This is beautiful, and is color true to what the picture shows. I love toile, and this is really lovely. I love the versatility of the pillows, as well. I was surprised at how light yet warm the comforter is. However, there are two large drawbacks. The first is that there is no bedskirt, and I have not been able to find a matching one by this maker. The second is that they don't stitch down the comforter anywhere besides on the edges. I am considering doing it myself. The insert does move around, and I am very concerned that it will start to pull apart inside as it is not stitched down. I have never seen this in any comforter I have had. It seems like a very odd oversight, one that makes no sense. I am keeping it and love the way it looks in my bedroom. My concern is the longevity of the comforter due to the insert being so loose.. I got this for my Grandmother's assisted living apartment to try to brighten up the space and cheer her up a little! It's bright and pretty! It's not in place yet, still collecting some items to take to her. I did kind of mess it up in my dryer...but we have a pretty small dryer (I think the part that got messed up was sitting too close to the heating element in the dryer and it made the stuffing/filling a bit stiff in that spot...but I totally think it's the fault of me/our dryer and not the product!). As long as you have a "modern"/larger washer/dryer I think it will wash just fine.. Beth. Richmond, IN. Tue Mar 14 2023
