They feel great but although they do look like the photos, the sweet surprise for me was that up close the dots have a look of watercolor which makes the geometric pattern a little more organic for lack of a better word. Also the background is not as white as the photos imply but a subtle ivory with a barely-there beige pattern which looks loosely woven. We love it!! It is a nice quality. It is one sided and has a super soft white layer underneath dangerously comfortable. Lol! We paired it with a really great deal. Wayfair had on an Eddie Bauer down alternative comforter my husband still makes the bed the old school way.
