I’ve never had a duvet cover. I’m used to a comforter or an occasional blanket so my expectations were low. Plus my body temp runs hot. This oversized king Beige duvet is perfect! The 100 cotton works well for hot sleepers. I sleep like a baby with this. I don’t wake up feeling hot or sweaty like I normally do. I love the lived-in look of the fabric. The included pillowcases have that envelope enclosure so I don’t have to worry about my pillows slipping out. I love the ruffled borders of the pillows too. This is a good set at a good price point. This is a beautiful comforter set. The comforter seems well made and it's a perfect medium weight. I got the blue/gray combo and the blue is a beautiful aqua color - just like it's shown in the picture (and just what I was hoping for). The seams on the shams are not very sturdy and I ripped one while inserting a standard size pillow. I also wish the shams were a mirror image, so each of openings faced the outside of the bed. I used the included pillow cases to make pillow covers for 18x18 inserts. The color of the round pillow and the text on the lumbar pillow are more of a powder blue, so they don't really match.
