This is a beautiful comforter set. The comforter seems well made and it's a perfect medium weight. I got the blue/gray combo and the blue is a beautiful aqua color - just like it's shown in the picture (and just what I was hoping for). The seams on the shams are not very sturdy and I ripped one while inserting a standard size pillow. I also wish the shams were a mirror image, so each of openings faced the outside of the bed. I used the included pillow cases to make pillow covers for 18x18 inserts. The color of the round pillow and the text on the lumbar pillow are more of a powder blue, so they don't really match. I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually prefer bedding with a soft, silky feel so that my skin does not catch against the fabric. For that reason, this duvet cover is not my personal favorite. The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. I machine washed on cool and dryer on 2 delicate cycles and it came out fine, no shrinkage or wrinkles.
