The pattern on it is unique, with different materials used. I love that this gives it some character and adds to the warmth of the room. It’s a classic style, but also modern and appropriate for all ages. It is perfect for fall and spring. For winter, I’d probably add a layer underneath. While I love the design and quality, like others I was disappointed that the shams that come with the king comforter are not king shams.. they are standard. So I did find a solution. I really like this set. It washed well and goes so well with a rustic theme. I was disappointed in one pillow sham. I went to fold them and one of them was sewn very unevenly at one end, so matching the ends was impossible. That end had over an inch discrepancy from the other end on the same side. I was worried how it would look with a pillow in it. Thankfully other decorative pillows made it where you don’t notice it.
