Really love this quilt. The colors were a bit darker than I expected with a lot of red but very pretty and great for the price. It is very lightweight which I like but if you are expecting a heavy quilt you may be disappointed. The batting is very thin. I have not washed it but the stitching is very close together which should keep the batting from shifting. Our charming Sarah patchwork is a happy hodgepodge of vintage florals and ditsy prints. The Hayslip stripe is sourced from the Williamsburg archives. It is pieced together in 8” blocks and quilted by hand.
