However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. When the seasons change, or it becomes ready for washing, the insert can be untied and removed for washing, or replaced with a down or alt down comforter.
