Super soft, have not yet put it on my bed but once I opened it up I noticed that the weight was quilted throughout- which was what I was hoping. I had a weighted blanket from a competitor brand and the weight was not “tacked down” and slid all the way to the end of the blanket which made it a pain to use. This was a great purchase.. Dawn.
