I was looking for a light weight down and this fit the bill. It was for a guest bedroom. Everyone sleep’s different, some cold and some hot. Now that it is summer I’ve folded and placed at the base of the bed to be pulled up if the air conditioning gets too cold. This is a perfect all weather down quilt. It’s light weight and right now we use our cover quit with it and it’s perfect for this abnormal cold weather we are having. I spent a fair bit of time researching a good quality duvet and it came packaged very nice and the 400 TC does have a luxurious feel. I have only had the duvet for two nights and I did find that was a little colder than expected Ted.
