Fantastic bed! Incredibly comfortable and feels very similar to a high-end memory foam bed I just got rid of. Excellent value for the money. I ordered the 12 inch queen for a guest room, but I’ve been sleeping in here every night now. As soon as I unpackaged it, it pretty much inflated to the full 12 inches within about a minute. I did follow the instructions and left it alone for a couple days without bedding to allow for expansion. This is a perfect medium/firm in my opinion. The memory foam gives, as it should. However, (thankfully) you feel like you are sleeping on top of the bed rather than in it. It does feel much cooler than my previous memory foam mattress, so I will be using a bamboo mattress protector and sheets to maintain the coolness. The 12 inch looked surprisingly “high” off my standard box spring, and my former sheets are a little snug, but still work well. I was glad to see it is compatible with adjustable frames, because I intend to use one in the future. This mattress arrived quickly and conveniently wrapped and sealed for immediate out of the box use. Once I opened the box, it was easy to pull the mattress out by the extra plastic on the top, I placed it right on the bed and cut the plastic. There was no scent or any type of smell, it inflated fully within minutes and was ready to use the same day. The memory foam was very comfortable. Laying on it feels firm and soft all at once. This is nice quality, but I would not call it a mattress, I would call it a nice memory foam topper. This is not something you can just put on the floor and have guests sleep on, it’s not thick enough or firm enough. I’m going to use this on top of an air bed for guests so it will be a great mattress topper, but the name of the product is just a little bit misleading, even though they say it has to be used in a camper, etc. If you purchase this to use as a mattress alone, you will be disappointed, however, if you purchase it to use as a nice mattress topper, I think you will be very pleased with the quality.. This foam mattress is definitely best used over another bed-like surface over the ground. It will slump on the ground, so you can still feel some stiffness when used on the floor. It is plush, soft, and folds easily. One issue we had was that our mattress came with one of the foam pieces folded over itself, so it had a bump in the middle instead of laying flat. The blue color is much more of a black navy blue, which I prefer, so that was a nice addition. I would recommend it more for child-use than adult-use, but worked for my needs.. Brittany. Oakland, CA.
