I ordered a 10” thick queen sized mattress and will be using it on a platform bed frame. The coils are supportive and the pillow top provides just enough softness. As a medium firm mattress, I think it is very comfortable and give it a high rating. It arrived well packaged as a ‘bed in a box’. It is quite heavy and does not require a box spring. We are using this new mattress in our RV and it has elevated the comfort of our bed significantly! This mattress is plush, yet firm. The top layer of fabric is so soft and smooth.
