This duvet is made with soft, plush microfiber fill, a high quality polyester that's meant to mimic the softness of down. The shell is a crisp, durable 260 thread count cotton. Microfiber doesn't have the same insulating properties as down, so microfiber duvets are heavier weight. A fair bit of fill is required to achieve the desired warmth. One benefit of a synthetic duvet is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!

I love my duvet. It is not too heavy which helps because I like to sleep with one even in the summer months with the fan going. It’s so cozy. I highly recommend it. I wish I could buy another. I learned that putting 2. Kelly. Washington, Dc. Mon Oct 05 2026

I have had mine for a year and like it so much I ordered another for the guest bed! It has held up great with many washings. The filling has NOT gotten clumpy!. Cynthia. Merced, CA. Sun May 31 2026

Give your favorite duvet cover a fresh new fill with this must-have plush insert. Ideal for those with allergies, this down-alternative design is made from hypoallergenic microfiber polyester that won't cause sneezing or irritate the skin. A baffle-box construction allows for an even distribution of fill, so that this piece is equally warm all over without bunching. It's an all-season design that can be used year-round. And a neutral white hue means it effortlessly blends with any cover without showing through. It's even machine-washable for quick and easy cleaning – and it's perfect for any bedroom.

I have never owned a duvet, always just comforters. This is wonderfully soft and pretty light weight but kept me comfortable all night. I wasn’t too hot or too cold…just right. The duvet cover I bought had ties for the top bottom and sides, but the insert only has loops on the corners. Being a king size I wish it had more loops but as of right now it has worked nicely..
