THE SMELL! COMFORTER SMELLS TERRIBLE! Like vinegar and potting soil. Washed it 3x but it was still palpably stinky. That said, this is probably the most comfortable, luxurious comforter ever, so we kept it, put up with it for the first few weeks. Within a month, the smell had fully passed, and no we just get to enjoy how comfortable it is. -1 star for the unfortunate initial smell, otherwise this would be a 5-star purchase. If you're able to air this out fully somewhere else before install, it's worthwhile.. Alyse. Atlanta, GA. Mon Jun 01 2026

I love it, but you do have to turn it so the lines run horizontally or it doesn’t cover the bed. I actually like the lines running horizontally better, but the shams don’t match. Still like it enough to keep it.. Kirby. Amherst, NH. Wed Jul 23 2025
